This story is hilarious!! You have the best facial expressions, Rachel. And, you capture a very real struggle. It IS difficult to speak or even make sense around someone who is abnormally attractive. I wonder, those 3 people who gave you the heads up about this VP, were they men? Or perhaps women of another generation? Because I agree, they left out a highly relevant detail from their warnings that would have been critical to thorough meeting prep. Looking forward to your next installment!
P.S. Jack Vettriano’s “The Singing Butler” is one of my favorite paintings of all time 😍

Two dudes and one woman (a few years older than me and has kids so it probably wasn’t on her radar!). Plus, I think once you’ve worked with someone for a few years, you become desensitized so you don’t think to mention it to a newbie!
PS: I had no idea that was the name of the painting. I absolutely love it. It’s so romantic and wistful. <3 <3 <3
